It's that time of year when candy prices go up and we shake our heads about our lack of preparation in buying the candy for all those neighborhood (or "visiting") kids who may or may not egg your house if your candy isn't good enough. Isn't Halloween grand? I love the costumes and the parties, but as it's my first year as a homeowner, I am not looking forward to trying to walk the line between buying too little candy (and disappointing children who may or may not egg my house) and buying too much candy (which I will then eat and continue to weigh 25 pounds heavier than when I first got pregnant). This is especially concerning to me as I am trying my best to not spend *any* money right now in an effort to break my shopping addiction.
And so, in honor of the holiday and those of you watching your wallets and your waistlines (and don't want to put on pants or gather all the children to head to the store just for candy), I've put together some Amazon Halloween candy deals. Each deal below has the price listed *after* coupons are applied. Amazon has several different Halloween candy coupons, each of which is only able to be applied once, so be careful deciding which candy to use them on! Just be sure to "clip" the coupon before checking out. Amazon will sometimes apply the coupon to your order if you email or call them, but more often they'll make you cancel the order, then apply the coupon and reorder.
These are all deals with free Prime shipping if you're a Prime member. If you're not a Prime member, you can get a 30-day free trial if you haven't already. Students can get a six month free trial. If you've already, you can sign up for a monthly membership, which is $10.99/month. I'm guessing you'll want this anyway as we lead up to Christmas! I always find that it's easiest to send presents directly to friends and relatives from Amazon and many of the best holiday deals are below the free shipping threshold for non-Prime members. Just remember to cancel your membership after Christmas if you don't want it to continue! I didn't venture into the Prime Pantry section for deals, as it's significantly less popular.
