I didn't think it was possible, but I've found a truly neutral bright red lip that should work on both yellow and pink skin tones. Seriously. And it's in the L'oreal Infallible 24 Hour lipstick that lasts me through the day *and* making out with my husband. The color is continual crimson. You can get it at Walmart, or Amazon has a 10% off coupon right now.
I really have been so impressed with this line of lipstick. It goes on liquid (step one) and dries in two minutes. Then you put on the included lip balm (step two) and go about your day. And you don't have to use the included lip balm if you don't want to; I've used various lip glosses and balms over it without any detrimental effect. I wore a different color of the same lipstick the other day and it lasted me all day, through making out with my husband, through working out at the gym (Zumba class), and then through my shower afterward. It's truly amazing.
It does feel dry if you don't apply a lip balm or other product over it, but that's literally the only downside. And if having to use a lip balm is the price I pay for day-long vibrant lip color, that's a price I'm more than willing to pay!
